Spandan Shah is an ESG and sustainability consultant and a value chain management expert with 10+ years of international work experience, having worked with KPMG in London and Dublin and EY in India.

Professional Background & Accomplishments

Spandan has completed his MBA from Imperial College London, where he studied strategy, climate change, and sustainability. He is the founder of GreenAlytics, an ESG analytics and reporting start-up, which advises companies on ESG strategy, ESG reporting, carbon footprint assessments and sustainable business transformations.
He is a Director at ESG Research Foundation, a not-for-profit organization in India, engaged in increasing awareness of the ESG agenda within the business community in India. He is also associated with various Tier-2 accounting firms in India as a subject matter expert in the ESG/sustainability domain.
He has authored various thought-leadership articles on ESG and Sustainability, and regularly conducts sessions on ESG topics at various forums in India. He is also a guest lecturer at Imperial College London as part of the Advanced Financial & Sustainability Reporting and the Sustainability & Competitive Advantage modules.
Alongside growing GreenAlytics, Spandan is currently an interim ESG manager at a £2 billion pension fund of a local UK council. He is also working with various Indian listed companies ($500 million to $2 billion market cap) in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, real estate and chemicals sector on carbon footprint and ESG reporting.
Outside of work, Spandan is involved in various non-profit and impact focused initiatives. Since 2013, he is associated as a volunteer with an Ahmedabad based NGO engaged in providing education to less-privileged kids. Currently, he also serves as a Trustee/Director at AIESEC UK, a charity organization in the UK.
